The Elli Grace label was launched in February of 2009 by designer duo Sojung “Sue” Yang and Lamarr Nanton. Elli Grace is named after two dogs: Elli and Grace. Grace was Sue’s first dog and Elli her second dog. Sue has such a love for her dogs that it was natural to name the label after them.

The St. Croix, Virgin Island native is a font of creativity, having played trumpet in jazz, reggae and rock bands and won acclaim for his artistic sensibilities as a painter as well.

looking vision and practical “wearability”.

Spending a great deal of time in Italy working with pattern-makers and factories that work with famed designers like Gucci, Tom Ford, Fendi and Christian Dior. They have taken the lessons they have learned over many years working in high end and brought the high quality garment making abilities to Elli Grace. With the belief that quality and details can be affordable they have set out to make Elli Grace.
With there Italian contacts they have learned creative ways to embellish garments and having worked with factories in Hong Kong as well they have combined the High End Designer sensibility with the practicality that comes from working in Asia. This is what makes Elli Grace so special.
